HANGING OUT ON A CORVALLIS FARM
We made our way to Brian’s aunt Hiedi’s to relax and spend time with family. About 5 miles from downtown Corvallis, the house and small farm sit on a hillside overlooking endless rolling green hills. The farm is home to Hiedi’s family, ducks, chickens, a goose, goats, dogs, cats and bees.
OPAL CREEK
On Heidi and her husband Todd’s suggestion, we decided to take a detour and head to Opal Creek on our way to the coast.
Once we arrived at Jawbone Flats, we found relics from the old mining town that flourished there in the 1850s.
After a short hike, we arrived at Opal Pool, where we saw the beautiful water the area is known for.
UP THE COAST
After Opal Creek, we headed west to take in the beautiful Oregon coastline and get some surfing in.
